This page explains what meetbima.com — our marketing site — collects, why, who else touches it, and how to have it removed. It is deliberately short and specific, because a privacy policy you can't read isn't a privacy policy.
If you're a member of a congregation that uses Bima, this page isn't about you. Your membership, giving and family records belong to your congregation and are governed by their policies — contact your synagogue office. For how Bima secures that data on their behalf, see Here to stay. Yours to keep.
The "Send this page" form records your name, email address, synagogue and (if you give it) your role, plus the recipient's email address, the subject line, and the time you sent it. We use it to know the page is being shared and to follow up with you if it looks useful.
Our host stores your IP address, browser type and the page you came from alongside each submission — that comes with the form service and we can't switch it off, though we don't use it for anything beyond spotting spam.
Two things it does not do: it doesn't store the message body you compose, and it doesn't send the email for you — your own mail app opens with the message drafted, and nothing goes out until you press send there.
The "Mail them a letter" form records the recipient's name and postal address; your name, email address, synagogue and (if you give it) your role; the message you drafted; and the time you sent it. We use the recipient's address once, to write and mail that letter, and it doesn't go on any list. We use your details to sign the letter in your name and to follow up with you.
Booking runs through Cal.com. Your name, email address and anything you type into the booking form go to Cal.com and to us, so we can hold the meeting.
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the page is used in aggregate: which sections people read, where they arrived from, approximate location at city level, and device and browser type. We also record four specific events — demo-booking clicks, completed bookings, page-send submissions, and letter requests.
We deliberately do not send email addresses, names, or any other personal identifier to Google. The addresses from the form above stay with us.
Our host records the usual request information — IP address, user agent, page requested, timestamp — as every web host does. We don't build profiles from it.
Google Analytics sets cookies to tell one visit from another. Cal.com may set its own when the booking window opens. Nothing else on this site sets a cookie, and we use no advertising cookies at all. You can block them in your browser without breaking the page — only the analytics stop working.

Ask us to delete something sooner and we will.
This site isn't directed at children and we don't knowingly collect anything from them. Religious-school and youth registrations happen inside Bima, administered by your congregation — not here.
We'll update the effective date above whenever this changes. If a change materially affects what we collect, we'll say so plainly rather than quietly editing the text.
